This condition affects approximately 7% of Americans and is regarded as a natural response to trauma, such as sexual abuse, physical assault, violence, or severe accidents.</p><p>While around eight million adults grapple with PTSD, one demographic group is particularly affected by this disorder: American veterans. Veterans frequently encounter injuries, death, and other life-threatening events in both combat and noncombat scenarios.
